About The Position

Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, this position is located in Hitchcock, Texas. The Engineering Execution Site Lead is responsible for connecting engineering teams with other departments such as manufacturing, customers, or project management. The primary goal is to ensure technical clarity, alignment, and smooth execution across interested parties. Create and improve nVent processes and standards for improving project timelines and work. Help build capabilities for all aspects of the rapid expansion of the nVent EBS division. Represent nVent engineering in customer meetings. Provide Engineering support to the Customer during FAT. Serve as the primary point of contact between engineering and other departments. Translate technical information into clear, actionable language for non-engineering teams and electrical production teams. Communicate customer or production issues back to engineering. Work with design and quality to perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions. Provide interface for on-site support for assembly or fabrication issues. Clarify technical drawings and specifications. Address technical inquiries from customers. Generate reports on recurring defects or trends, track key performance indicators (KPIs).

Requirements

  • Strong technical background (electrical)
  • Knowledge of CAD drawings and engineering documentation
  • Familiarity with quality systems (ISO, AS9100, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings, specifications and user documentation
  • Strong experience collaborating in multi-functional roles within engineering, operations and customer teams
  • BE/BSE or equivalent experience
  • Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, CAD software
  • Interpersonal and Analytical skills and the ability to skillfully plan and coordinate multiple systems jobs with awareness of deadlines
