Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous engineering internship or co-op experience.
  • Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD, or similar).
  • Exposure to Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with data analysis tools and Microsoft Excel.
  • Demonstrated leadership through student organizations, project teams, or extracurricular activities.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in engineering projects that improve product performance, quality, safety, and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, supply chain, operations, and product development.
  • Analyze production and operational data to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Apply engineering principles to support process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with implementation of automation and advanced manufacturing technologies.
  • Support root cause investigations and corrective action activities.
  • Present project findings and recommendations to engineering and business leaders.
  • Build technical and leadership competencies through formal development opportunities.
