About The Position
The Engineering Data Entry Specialist will enter data into the ERP system and help prepare job folders for upcoming orders. This role requires reliability, confidentiality, and proficiency in Microsoft programs. The specialist must be thorough, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently. A key responsibility includes the ability to read blueprints, bill of materials, purchase orders, and other customer-submitted documents.
Requirements
- Must be reliable and able to remain confidential.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft programs.
- Must be thorough and detailed oriented.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to read blueprints, bill of materials, purchase orders, and other documents submitted by customers.
- Valid driver's license
- Experience with ERP systems (Epicor preferred)
- 1-2 years of experience
Responsibilities
- Enter data into ERP system.
- Prepare job folders for upcoming orders.
- Retrieve source files and work from the data center each day.
- Verify and log the receipt of data and obtain any missing data.
- Resolve minor processing problems and seek assistance for complex issues.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
