2027 Engineering Co-op
About The Position
This rotational position will provide the successful candidate with impactful opportunities in Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality. The position is located in Westminster, SC, which is about 20-25 minutes from Clemson University. During each rotation our Co-Ops work with the Engineering Manager to develop a list of projects that will be the responsibility of the Co-Op to manage and complete. The nature of these projects will be determined based on a combination of interests of the student, business needs, and aptitude of the student to complete the tasks required. These projects are meant to stretch the student to develop new skills, experience and will require hands-on involvement in areas outside of engineering like machining, assembly, and quality. We strive to make the “ITT Engineering Co-Op Experience” unique by providing opportunities to experience the aspects of an engineering career which can’t be learned in a classroom with the aid of a coach and mentor. This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
Requirements
- Enrolled in an Engineering program with a minimum 2.50 GPA

- Ability to work in a combination office and assembly/machining environment
- Must wear safety glasses and safety shoes
Responsibilities
- Update Manufacturing work instruction manuals.
- Work with Operations Management, Engineering and Quality to investigate and capture priorities and tasks
- Use Excel and MS Word to track and update project documents
- Concept and Create 3D models, production drawings, and Bill of Materials
- Complete analysis of Customer applications and Manufacturing requirements
- Participate in product testing and product development
- Assist in manufacturing process improvement projects
- Perform other duties as assigned
