About The Position

The Engineering Change Management Analyst will be responsible for reading product datasheets, identifying manufacturer part numbers, creating descriptions and part numbers, creating Bills of Materials (BOM), executing Engineering Change Orders (ECO’s) and Manufacturing Change Orders (MCO’s) in the Agile PLM system based on inputs from change managers and client stakeholders, conducting change impact analysis, and reporting on SLA and metrics. This role is located in San Jose, CA or Austin, TX, and it has a hybrid schedule with the requirement of being onsite 3 days of the week. TX residents will have a work schedule to cover office hours in PST time.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Engineering or 2 years of experience in Engineering Change Management
• Ability to read Engineering Drawings Spec Sheets to create part descriptions and identify manufacturing part numbers
• Experience working with Bill of Materials, ECR’s, ECN’s, ECO’s, MCO’s

Nice To Haves

• Experience in PLM Engineering or Manufacturing
• Experience using a PLM system such as Windchill, Oracle Agile, Arena, or TeamCenter
• Experience working in Hi Tech Industries
• Experience of working with Contract Manufacturers, Servers and Networking Equipment
• Component Engineering
• Exposure to Engineering Supply Chain and Manufacturing functions
