About The Position

This position provides engineering support and risk management services for an advanced development and research program focused on System of Systems (SoS) integration across PMA-268 and PMA-228. The role involves extensive work with Technical Data Packages (TDP) and reliability activities, including technical analysis of vendor TDPs, managing technical documentation, analyzing contractor deliverables, and supporting program management in execution and risk identification. The candidate will monitor vendor Integrated Master Schedules for TDP milestones and manage risks related to TDP and product-support/reliability activities.

Requirements

  • A Final DoD Top Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering from an accredited college or university.
  • At least five (5) years of experience in DoD program office(s).

Nice To Haves

  • At least three (3) years of DoD acquisition logistics experience, with knowledge equivalent to the DAU Life Cycle Logistics Foundational Certification (formerly DAWIA Level II).
  • In-depth knowledge of MIL-STD-31000B (Technical Data Packages).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe products, and database management.
  • CAD/PLM proficiency (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo View, Siemens Teamcenter).

Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering support and risk management services for an advanced development and research program in support of System of Systems (SoS) integration across PMA-268 and PMA-228.
  • Perform technical analysis of vendor Technical Data Package (TDP) drawings, schematics, and models, verifying conformance with applicable military standards (such as MIL-STD-31000B) and contract requirements.
  • Support and coordinate the development, configuration control, and marking of technical documentation such as the SoS TDP and associated data bridged from PMA-268 and PMA-228 into the Logistics Product Database.
  • Analyze contractor TDP deliverables, logging and tracking technical deficiencies to closure and supporting resolution throughout the design-review cycle.
  • Support program management, the Assistant Program Manager for Logistics (APML), and Level 1 IPT leads in program execution and in processes for future program activities, monitoring the vendor Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for TDP milestone status.
  • Provide risk management for TDP and product-support/reliability activities in accordance with the DoD Risk Management Guide for Defense Acquisition Programs: identify, document, and track TDP milestone, product-support, and reliability risks in the program risk database; and develop and report risk metrics for program leadership decision points and design reviews.
