About The Position

This position is responsible for performing basic engineering support tasks. The examination process includes a written exam to assess knowledge of algebra, geometry, common engineering and construction terms, and computer-aided drafting techniques. Applicants must achieve a minimum score of 70% on all exam phases. The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, with coursework in algebra and geometry, or equivalent experience. A valid California Motor Vehicle Driver's License is also required. Successful candidates will be placed on an eligible list for twelve months.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent.
• Coursework in algebra and geometry, or experience sufficient to obtain the knowledge and skill to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
• Possession of a valid California Motor Vehicle Driver's License.
• Attach a copy of high school or college transcripts verifying successful completion of coursework in algebra and geometry.
