Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in fabrication environments such as cable and harness assembly, SMT board fabrication, or military product maintenance.
- Prior certification in solder and harness capability to MIL STD requirements.
- Demonstrated experience fabricating electrical equipment from technical documentation.
- Strong ability to communicate technical issues verbally and in writing with engineers and management.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft products and relevant software tools.
Nice To Haves
- Solder certification (J-STD-001, IPC-7711/IPC-7711/IPC-7721).
- Experience in procurement and acquisition of test materials.
- Familiarity with Lockheed Martin Test Equipment engineering standards.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Support engineers by gathering, maintaining, and manipulating technical data, including laboratory and material test results.
- Produce and update engineering documentation, including reports, drawings, flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics.
- Perform detailed mathematical calculations and preliminary data analyses using established guidelines and formulas.
- Fabricate electrical equipment from blueprints, schematics, and engineering guides, ensuring adherence to MIL STD requirements.
- Conduct tests, record data, and assist with engineering evaluations and analyses.
- Communicate effectively with design teams and management to address and resolve technical and process issues.
- Utilize Microsoft products and various software tools for data analysis and documentation.
