Engineer - Intern
About The Position
FSH Tech builds modern software for public-sector organizations, including local governments, schools, libraries, and emergency services. The company is a small, high-agency team focused on improving public services through effective software and tooling. Its engineering work uses Python, Postgres, Unix, TypeScript, and React, along with internal tools for generating Python and TypeScript. Familiarity with that stack is not required; strong fundamentals and the ability to learn quickly matter more. This is a 10-week paid internship. Interns build real projects for real customers, working across technical architecture, design critique, and product construction. Each intern is paired with a senior engineer for mentorship, goal-setting, increasing scope and ownership, and frequent collaboration when needed. The internship is intended to help interns ship customer value, and strong interns may be considered for a full-time offer. Interns are expected to live in New York City or Philadelphia and work from the company office in either location.
