Engineer - Intern

FSH Technologies•Philadelphia, PA
•$10,000 - $10,000•Onsite

About The Position

FSH Tech builds modern software for the public sector, aiming to improve government services and the use of taxpayer dollars. The company is a small, high-agency team focused on creating effective products for local governments, schools, libraries, and emergency services. This is a 10-week paid engineering internship. Interns build real projects for real customers and learn through hands-on work. The role spans technical architecture, design critique, and product construction. Each intern is paired with a senior engineer for mentorship, goal-setting, expanding ownership, and frequent pairing support. There is no predefined destination for the role, and interns are enabled to ship customer value. Strong interns may be considered for a full-time offer. FSH uses Python, Postgres, Unix, TypeScript, and React, and maintains internal tools to deterministically generate Python and TypeScript. Prior familiarity with this stack is not required; strong fundamentals and an ability to learn quickly are valued.
