About The Position
The company is seeking an experienced Millwork Engineer with a strong background in custom and / or architectural millwork. If you enjoy solving problems and engineering solutions with the shop floor and installation in mind, this is the perfect job for you.
Requirements
- Proven experience in custom and/or architectural millwork manufacturing
- Proficient Autodesk Inventor and/or Microvellum
- Solid understanding of CNC programming!
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Solid-CIM / Router-CIM (or similar CNC programming/CAM software) is a definite Plus!
- Comfort working with mixed materials: hardwood, laminate, metal, glass, plastics, composites, etc.
- Experience in woodwork for Inventor a definite plus
Responsibilities
- Working directly with project management, machining, and fabrication teams.
- Manufacturability/Efficiency mindset - design to minimize waste, setup and rework.
- Producing and reviewing shop drawings in Autodesk Inventor and/or Woodwork for Inventor with a manufacturing-first mindset.
