About The Position
Holder Construction is seeking an Engineer Technician in Training to join their Operations team for a project in Mooresville, IN. This is a full-time position where the selected candidate will assist Field Engineers with surveying instruments, perform construction layout, and maintain survey equipment. The role includes on-the-job training and requires the individual to provide primary support to field supervision, demonstrating ownership, professionalism, and critical thinking to solve issues and lead teams at the jobsite.
Requirements
- Must be able to work overtime and weekend hours.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Punctuality and promptness are required every day.
- Individuals must be able to work in an OSHA compliant safety environment.
- Willingness to travel

Responsibilities
- Assisting Field Engineers in operating robotic total station instruments, auto level and other surveying instruments.
- Perform construction layout by setting stakes, marking lines, elevations, grades, and reference points.
- This position will include on the job training.
- Maintain total station, field book, survey equipment and tools.
- Provide primary support to our field supervision and must demonstrate ownership of assigned tasks, maintain professionalism, and use critical thinking to solve issues and lead team to complete daily tasks at the jobsite.
