About The Position

Northrop Grumman's Space Sector is seeking an Engineer Supplier Mission Assurance – Level 2 or Level 3 to join their team in Chandler, AZ. This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work. The role involves collaborating with program management, engineering, subcontracts/procurement functional management, and supplier management teams to ensure all procurements meet or exceed external and internal customer requirements. The position defines the Supplier MA program within the scope of contract requirements and NGMS policies and processes, and coordinates and oversees Supplier Mission Assurance implementation across all program phases. This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 0 years of professional experience (for Level 2)
Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 3 years of professional experience – OR – PhD with 1 year of professional experience (for Level 3)
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance
Familiarity with customer and internal requirements implementation and flow-down
Interdepartmental collaboration and communication skills
Process improvement projects
Experience developing and working to an AS9100 Quality Management System (QMS)
Strong technical writing skills

Nice To Haves

An Active US DoD Secret security clearance
Experience working in the Aerospace industry
Extensive experience with RCCA analysis, investigation, and implementation
Experience generating QMS command media

Responsibilities

Define and monitor mission assurance program specifications and processes to ensure mission success of programs.
Perform or assure quality, risk management, safety, reliability and maintainability of program achievements, subcontractors, and suppliers in accordance with contractual requirements.
Assess program performance and risks and determine resources to ensure mission assurance.
