About The Position
A Quality Engineer provides statistical information for quality improvement by identifying testing methods and samples. This role involves assisting with the maintenance and implementation of the Quality System, interfacing with Engineering and Operations for new product transfers, and supporting Quality Inspectors to ensure compliance with the quality management system. The engineer will analyze failures, corrective actions, and preventive actions in response to customer complaints, create and maintain quality documentation, and continuously improve QA receiving inspection processes. Responsibilities also include ensuring timely resolution of supplier failures, preparing quality reports, and driving continual improvement activities like 5S and Kaizen lean methods. Additionally, the role involves developing quality awareness training, conducting audits, managing receiving/outgoing quality functions, and overseeing supplier performance.
Requirements
- ISO Auditor.
- Mid-Level Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Computer knowledge, functionality, technical interaction of sub-assemblies.
- English as either primary or secondary language.
- College Education: Bachelors Degree preferred.
- External candidates who have the skills and experience to best meet the job requirements listed above and have proven success in similar roles.

Responsibilities
- Assist with maintenance of the Quality System.
- Assist Quality Manager & Supervisor in establishing, implementing and maintaining the quality management system.
- Interface with Engineering and Operations to ensure transfer to Production of new products are in accordance with approved data.
- Support the Quality Inspectors to ensure that products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the quality management system.
- Analyze failure, corrective and preventive action to respond to internal/external customer complaints.
- Create and maintain company quality documentation, such as quality manuals, quality procedures, etc.
- Continuously improving QA receiving inspection process and procedures.
- Ensure timely resolution of supplier failure, corrective actions and preventive actions.
- Preparation of QA weekly, monthly, quarterly reports.
- Responsible for continual improvement activities to enhance the quality system, such as 5S, Kaizen lean methods, etc.
- Develop training to build quality awareness.
- Conduct audits, including closing out audit findings, creating audits finding reports and determine proper corrective and preventive actions.
- Responsible for planning, organizing and managing the overall activities of receiving / outgoing quality functions.
- Manage suppliers performance and conduct audits.
