The ADI’s Cloud and Data Center Equipment BU is seeking a motivated, experienced application engineer to provide support to our power applications engineering team located at ADI’s Colorado Springs, CO office. The Applications Engineer will participate in silicon evaluation, designing evaluation boards, customer support, writing application notes and datasheets for ADI’s DC-DC converters.

Requirements

• BSEE
• 0+ years Fundamentals on power electronics
• PCB design
• Experience with lab equipment

Nice To Haves

• MSEE
• 1-3 years Knowledge on DC-DC converters
• Basics on analog circuit design
• Experience with hardware debug/troubleshooting
• Excellent presentation and technical writing skills
• Simulation tools Simplis or LTSpice
• Experience in Python or LabView

Responsibilities

• Silicon bench evaluation
• Design and test evaluation boards
• Generate reference design reports for customers
• Review customers’ schematics and PCB layouts
• Technical writing of datasheet and application notes
• Simulations and lab automation
