Engineer Intern
About The Position
Prysmian Group is a global leader in the cable systems industry. With nearly 140 years of experience, Prysmian Group operates in 50 countries, with 112 plants and 25 research and development centers. The company is involved in the manufacturing and distribution of copper, aluminum, fiber optic, and cable products used in industrial, energy, construction, specialized, and communication markets. We are looking for an intern who can take charge of a project and see it through to completion. This project will be sponsored by the engineering department and other stakeholders, allowing the student to develop their management skills while applying their technical abilities. They will be able to take initiative. The intern will be an integral part of the plant's engineering team and will also be supported by the plant's maintenance team (a multidisciplinary team including a machine shop, mechanical fitters, and electricians).
Requirements
- Full-time student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Dynamic and motivated personality.
- Autonomy and resourcefulness.
Nice To Haves
- French and English language skills are desired.
