About The Position
LignoTech’s Engineering Internship Program is designed to provide direct experience to students pursuing careers in chemical, electrical, manufacturing, mechanical, industrial or related engineering field. This 12-week paid internship offers students the opportunity to collaborate with experienced professionals, gain industry knowledge, and contribute to meaningful projects that impact our operations. Successful interns may receive full-time job offers upon graduation. Program Objectives · Provide practical, real-world experience in a mid-size chemical manufacturing environment. · Develop technical and problem-solving skills through hands-on projects and mentorship. · Foster a pipeline of future talent by offering high-performing full-time positions upon graduation. · Introduce interns to LignoTech’s culture, values, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- A strong academic record (GPA 3.0 or higher preferred)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Must be able to analyze complex systems, troubleshoot issues and develop practical solutions.
- A proactive and team-oriented mindset
- The ability to adapt to a fast-paced, industrial environment
- Basic knowledge of engineering principles and safety regulations
- Strong work-ethic with grit and determination to overcome project obstacles
