About The Position
The internship is intended to allow selected engineering student the opportunity to experience hands-on technical work in support of on-going projects and proposals and develop understanding of engineering process, tools, practices, and procedures.
Requirements
- Must be working toward a Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering with an accredited University.
- Minimum two years of courses with emphasis on Chemical, Mechanical, electrical, or nuclear engineering with an overall GPA of 3.0 or above is required.
- Training and working knowledge of Solid-works, Excel is required.
- General Knowledge of engineering standards.
- Must be a US citizen
Nice To Haves
- Good communications skills and ability to plan, prioritize and organize are highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Assist engineers to perform design, modeling and drafting activities and develop design documentation
- Use engineering design tools to develop and analyze design
- Assist with completing, updating, and/or editing calculations, data sheets, drawings etc
- Create records, bill of materials etc
- Assist with configuration and data management efforts
