Indiana University Health is seeking individuals who embody these values to join our IS Networking and Telephony team in the role of Engineer-Information Services Intermediate. The Engineer-Information Services Intermediate fulfills complex customer requirements by leading the end-to-end design, construction, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation of enterprise-class datacenter computing hardware, software, networking tools, and platforms. This role is responsible for evaluating, analyzing, configuring, and implementing new products and tools while consistently ensuring that appropriate operational monitoring is enabled. Additionally, the position provides robust technical support across logical networking and communications protocols, Microsoft products, Intel and midrange platforms, relational databases, and various programming or scripting languages.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience.
  • Experience working with hypervisors and scripting required.
  • Requires experience working with vendors to quote moderately complex solutions.

Nice To Haves

  • Healthcare, health insurance and health providers experience and understanding of processes is preferred.
  • Cloud experience is preferred.
