About The Position

Century West Engineering is hiring an Engineer-in-Training to join its Puget Sound team. The firm is open to candidates ranging from recent graduates to those with several years of experience. The role involves both office and field work, and requires willingness to travel throughout Washington for field work. The hiring salary range is $66,100–$75,000; the full salary range is $66,100–$90,500.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or an appropriate discipline.
Recent graduate or up to four years of relevant experience.
Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam.
Good technical and communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suites.
Basic AutoCAD skills.
Willingness to travel throughout Washington for field work.

Nice To Haves

Civil 3D experience or a strong desire to learn Civil 3D.
Previous experience or internships in civil engineering or construction inspection.

Responsibilities

Assist in preparing design documents.
Visit job sites to observe field activities or conduct construction inspections.
Perform engineering calculations.
Coordinate with and review design work from other engineers and technicians.
