About The Position

The Engineer in Charge (EIC) is the primary onsite technical resource for a corporate broadcast, studio, and live-event environment. The role is responsible for the reliability, operational readiness, maintenance, and continuous improvement of production systems supporting executive communications, studio productions, corporate events, and hybrid broadcasts. It combines professional broadcast engineering with hands-on production operations support, while keeping engineering reliability, technical ownership, and system readiness as its priorities. The EIC maintains technical ownership of a purpose-built live-event theater, keeping its broadcast, audio, video, control, communications, and production systems ready throughout the year and leading technical preparation and live support for approximately three major events annually. The position also supports daily corporate production activities, including rehearsals, broadcasts, studio productions, virtual events, and scheduled maintenance. This is a full-time onsite position, with occasional early-morning, evening, or weekend production support based on approved operational requirements. The EIC collaborates with production personnel, technical teams, vendors, and client stakeholders; personnel management and reporting relationships remain with designated management.
