About The Position

Our client is seeking an Engineer III to join a high-performing engineering team responsible for the design, optimization, and execution of projects supporting pipeline, gathering, storage, and processing facilities. This role offers the opportunity to lead high-impact engineering and capital improvement projects on pipelines, compressor stations, pump stations, storage facilities, and processing assets. The position provides exposure to both technical engineering and project management responsibilities, with collaboration across operations, construction, and leadership teams. The Engineer III will influence asset reliability, efficiency, safety, and growth initiatives, with strong opportunities for career advancement and professional development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a Related Engineering Discipline
  • 4+ years of engineering, operations, or project management experience
  • Experience supporting one or more of the following: Pipeline operations, Gathering systems, Hydrocarbon processing facilities, Storage facilities, Measurement and regulation systems
  • Experience with engineering design and project execution
  • Experience preparing engineering studies, specifications, contracts, budgets, and project documentation
  • Pipeline design and analysis
  • Hydraulic calculations and flow modeling
  • Pipeline sizing and evaluation
  • Equipment selection and specification
  • Cost estimation and project budgeting
  • Process safety principles
  • Pipeline and facility construction support
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and engineering standards
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project, Access)

Responsibilities

  • Design, evaluate, and optimize pipeline, gathering, storage, and processing systems
  • Perform hydraulic calculations, flow analysis, pipeline sizing, and valve sizing
  • Support facility design, construction, operations, and maintenance activities
  • Conduct engineering studies and provide recommendations to improve system performance and reliability
  • Analyze capacity constraints, operating costs, and expansion opportunities
  • Manage projects from planning through execution and completion
  • Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and cost estimates
  • Prepare AFEs and manage project expenditures
  • Coordinate contractors, vendors, and third-party resources
  • Support procurement, equipment selection, and construction activities
  • Lead Management of Change (MOC) processes and change order management
  • Provide technical expertise for pipeline and facility operations
  • Evaluate measurement and regulation systems for accuracy and efficiency
  • Assist with troubleshooting operational issues and identifying long-term solutions
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, industry standards, and company procedures
