About The Position

The Engineer II performs a variety of maintenance trade functions at a resort or hotel, including installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment; HVAC systems; and building finishes such as paint, walls, and tile. The role also supports the property’s preventative maintenance program. The position works closely with other team members and calls for a motivated, detail-oriented person with an engaging attitude.

This is a part-time position primarily scheduled for the 3:00 PM–11:00 PM swing shift, including weekends and holidays as business needs require.

Requirements

• Experience as a maintenance person is sought; no specific duration or credential is stated.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance of building and facility mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Perform general electrical repairs on appliances, house wiring, air conditioning systems, switches, fixtures, and motors.
• Repair plumbing fixtures, piping, drains, and sanitary systems.
• Repair woodwork, wall vinyl, doors, windows, carpeting, and related items.
• Perform general mechanical maintenance on pumps, compressors, water heaters, automotive equipment, and other miscellaneous equipment.
• Maintain records and logs of completed tasks as required by company policies and procedures.
• Prepare reports as requested by supervisors and submit requested reports and logs in a timely manner.
• Support upkeep of the resort or hotel’s preventative maintenance program.
