About The Position

The Engineer II performs a variety of maintenance trade functions at a resort or hotel, including installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and building systems. The role also involves HVAC work, painting, wall repair, tile work, and upkeep of the preventative maintenance program. The position works closely with other team members and calls for an engaging attitude and the ability to respond quickly. It is described as an opportunity to grow and learn at a world-class property.

This is a part-time position primarily scheduled for the 3:00 PM–11:00 PM swing shift, including weekends and holidays as business needs require.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance of building and facility mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Perform electrical repairs on appliances, house wiring, air conditioning systems, switches, fixtures, and motors.
• Repair plumbing fixtures, piping, drains, and sanitary systems.
• Repair woodwork, wall vinyl, doors, windows, carpeting, and related items.
• Perform general mechanical maintenance on pumps, compressors, water heaters, automotive equipment, and miscellaneous equipment.
• Maintain records, logs of completed tasks, and other documentation as required by company policy and procedures.
• Prepare reports as requested by supervisors and submit requested reports and logs in a timely manner.
• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment, HVAC, painting, wall repair, and tile work.
• Maintain the property's preventative maintenance program.
