About The Position

The Engineer I is responsible for the daily operations and activities which they have been assigned and provide administrative and technical support as directed by department management. Engineer I is an entry level position with general knowledge of maintenance. THIS IS A SECOND SHIFT POSTION (3PM - 11:30PM). All duties are performed in accordance with department and Sunseeker Resort policies, practices, and procedures.

Requirements

minimum of 1 - 2 years of experience in a resort setting preferred
HVAC Experience preferred
Combination of education and experience will be considered
Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to function well under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet established deadlines
Must possess mature personal discretion and sound judgment
Strong leadership abilities, sound judgment, superior problem solving and decision-making skills
Excellent organizational, analytical and project management skills, with particular attention to quality and detail
Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts
Professional appearance and demeanor

Responsibilities

Complete work orders
Walk daily routes and make necessary repairs
Perform other job-related duties as requested
Able to use diagnostic tools, such as but not limited to: Amp Meters, Voltmeters, OHM meters, compound gauges and pressure gauges etc.
Able to work from blueprints and schematics, and interpret manufactures guidelines for the operation and maintenance of related equipment
Knowledgeable of hand and power tools
Proficient at inspecting, troubleshooting, maintaining, repairing equipment and facilities fixtures, furnishings, and equipment
Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance adhering to company standards
Perform other duties as assigned.
