About The Position

We are seeking an early career Engineer or Engineer In Training with an innovative mindset, strong time management skills, organization, good work ethic, and someone ready to make an impact in the communities ETM serves. The position involves performing engineering assignments, compiling data, performing design computations, and preparing engineering plans under close supervision.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of related engineering experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• Certified E.I.T.
• Knowledge of CADD (Auto CADD and Civil 3D preferred)
• Ability to work well as part of a team, be self-motivated, and flexible
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business, technology and professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer and technology-related skills

Nice To Haves

• Auto CADD and Civil 3D knowledge

Responsibilities

• Performs engineering assignments and works from designs of others
• Compiles data and performs design computations
• Prepares engineering plans
• Develop plans, specifications, and inspection reports as needed on assigned tasks
• Applies standard practices and techniques in specific situations
• Adjusts and correlates data, recognizes discrepancies in results
• Follows operations through a series of related, detailed steps or processes
• Perform and coordinate engineering assignments designed to develop professional working knowledge
• Fulfill the experience requirement for licensure as a professional engineer
