About The Position

This role is for the lead electrical engineer on the Actuator Engineering team. Area of responsibility encompasses supporting design, qualification, and procurement of new electro-mechanical actuators, as well as support of current in-service electro-mechanical actuators. The selected candidate will also be responsible for mentoring junior electrical engineers.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of relevant exempt experience
Master’s Degree and 3 years of relevant professional experience
Ph.D. and 0 years of experience
Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of electronic system and component design
Knowledge of Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) testing
Experience with testing equipment in a lab environment
Experience with project management
Ability to mentor junior electrical engineers

Responsibilities

Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks.
Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
Supports design, qualification, and procurement of new electro-mechanical actuators.
Supports current in-service electro-mechanical actuators.
Mentors junior electrical engineers.
