About The Position

This role is within Reliability Centered Maintenance Engineering. The ideal candidate will be familiar with US Navy Nuclear Propulsion Plant Systems and Components, including reactor plant systems, and steam and electric plant systems. Strong writing and communication skills are essential for working with multiple customers and organizations, including the US Government and Navy personnel. The position involves conducting Reliability Centered Maintenance Analyses using a systems approach to support effective maintenance strategies, aiming to maximize ship mission operational availability while minimizing cost. The engineer will research, develop, design, and test electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks, and design electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of relevant exempt experience; Master’s Degree and 3 years of relevant professional experience; Ph.D. and 0 years of experience.
Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program.
Familiarity with US Navy Nuclear Propulsion Plant Systems and Components to include reactor plant systems, steam and electric plant systems is preferred.
Good writing skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
Ability to work with multiple customers and organizations, including the US Government and Navy personnel.

Responsibilities
