About The Position

This role supports compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards, including internal operating systems and ISO/IATF requirements. The Junior CNC Process Engineer will demonstrate and promote company core values while working collaboratively within the team. This position assists engineering and production teams in meeting key performance indicators related to safety, quality, and efficiency, and supports lean manufacturing initiatives, including 5S and continuous improvement activities. The role involves interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements to understand machining processes, and assisting in estimating machining cycle times, tooling, and equipment needs. Collaboration with manufacturing engineering, quality, and purchasing teams on process development and improvements, along with providing general project and documentation support, are also key aspects of this position.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a 2- or 4-year degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering field
  • Basic understanding or strong interest in CNC machining and manufacturing processes
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Eagerness to learn and take initiative in a hands-on setting

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to CAD software (AutoCAD or SolidWorks) is a plus
