About The Position

Responsible and accountable for clinical research and development activities related to incisionless surgery technologies. Perform research and development activities related to incisionless surgery technologies. Characterize and verify functional performance of hardware and software systems. Document functional performance of hardware and software systems by writing reports that will form the foundation of a medical device development program. Develop competency in the area of tissue effects analysis by combining fundamental knowledge of anatomy, biology, physics and clinical engineering.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering or science discipline.
  • Prior experience working in a laboratory environment.
  • Proficiency in documentation and data analytics tools such as Google Docs, Microsoft Powerpoint, Microsoft Excel.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering
  • At least 2 years of relevant product development experience in medical devices.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment with safety critical considerations.
  • Experience working with in vivo and ex vivo tissue environments
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously within an environment rich with unsolved science and technology challenges, hazy requirements, and a dynamic team committed to changing the fundamentals of surgery.
