ENGINEER 1
About The Position
This Engineer 1 role is a generic engineering classification for work engaged in research and/or product development, primarily in one or more of the following disciplines: electronics, electrical, mechanical, and/or chemical. The position is with HII’s Newport News Shipbuilding division, supporting CVN 78 CL Engineering. It is full-time, first shift, and is not eligible for telework. Travel is not required. U.S. citizenship is required; security clearance is not required to start. Relocation assistance is available. The required qualification is a bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program. The posted base salary range is $84,000 to $101,000; final compensation may vary based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.

- U.S. citizenship is required.
- No years of relevant exempt experience are required.
