About The Position

Join our Propulsion Systems Analysis team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge propulsion systems that drive innovation in aerospace. As an intern, you will work alongside subject matter experts on engine program development initiatives and take ownership of a project that advances the discipline's state of the art. As an Engine Performance & Operability Intern at Pratt & Whitney, you will support propulsion system design and analysis to optimize engine performance, fuel consumption, and operability. You will perform thermodynamic and fluid dynamic analyses to evaluate engine systems, conduct gas turbine cycle modeling and analyze system performance, and assist in the design and evaluation of turbomachinery components and control systems. You will also collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address system-level challenges and deliver program objectives, and contribute to data analysis and validation efforts for engine development, as well as prepare technical documentation and present findings to stakeholders. Engineering interns at Pratt & Whitney work on challenging, meaningful, and impactful projects across our business. Our intern program seeks to help you develop an understanding of the aerospace industry and learn about our company and its operations.
