About The Position

This role provides support to internal Firm clients with a service mindset, urgency, accuracy, and pride in work. Responsibilities include routing and processing client requests, reviewing peer work, interacting with both in-office and remote staff across different time zones, partnering with engagement teams to clarify inquiries and set expectations, resolving problems by clarifying issues, researching solutions, and implementing them. The specialist will also assist the Operations Lead with specialized projects like reporting, data research, formatting, editing, and process design. Maintaining an environment of continuous learning for oneself and others by completing training, supporting peers, and enhancing task training resources is also a key aspect of the role.

Requirements

  • 0-1 years customer service experience or equivalent coursework
  • HS Diploma required.
  • Experience with Outlook, Excel, and Word required
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills
  • Ability to use a variety of resources to learn new tasks
  • Ability to proofread with strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy
  • Ability to easily adapt to changes and challenges
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Capacity to work within a team environment and assist peers as needed
  • Some overtime and weekend work required
  • This is a non-exempt position, so you may have to work hours that exceed the standard 40-hour work week.

Nice To Haves

  • Higher level of education/college coursework preferred.
  • Students and graduates, preferable areas of studies: Accounting, Audit, Finance, Banking, Insurance, or another economic-related discipline
  • Knowledge of accounting (basic) preferred
  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat preferred

Responsibilities

  • Providing support to internal Firm clients using a service mindset with a sense of urgency, while maintaining accuracy and having pride in your work
  • Routing and processing client requests; reviewing peer work and completion processes
  • Interacting with both in-office and remote staff, including domestic and international groups on various time zones
  • Effectively partnering with engagement teams to clarify inquiries, address needs, and set clear expectations related to task processing
  • Resolving problems by clarifying issues; researching and exploring answers and alternative solutions; implementing solutions; escalating unresolved or complex problems
  • Assisting Operations Lead with specialized projects, including reporting and data research, deliverable formatting and editing, process design, and additional tasks as assigned
  • Maintaining an environment of continuous learning for yourself and others by completing all training related to client requests, supporting peers in their learning, and enhancing task training resources whenever possible while ensuring alignment with subject matter experts
