About The Position

CLA is looking to hire Accounting Consultants (Engagement Senior) for their Client Accounting and Advisory Services (CAAS) division. CAAS offers customized accounting support to clients, typically larger than $50M, on an interim and project basis. This role is ideal for individuals who value flexibility, variety, and work-life balance.

Requirements

Four years of relative work experience.
A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field required. Combination of relevant experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience in a variety of accounting software.

Nice To Haves

Experience in Big Four or other similar public accounting preferred.
CPA certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Serve as an interim or project-based accounting resource for clients in various industries on accounting, finance, tax, and audit roles.
Design/improve accounting processes such as: monthly close, management and financial reporting, forecasting, consolidations, and system implementations.
Take an active and hands-on approach in executing client engagements.
Travel for client engagements (more travel opportunities available for those open to it).
Select engagements to align career and personal life.
