About The Position

The Engagement Processing (EP) function is a vital part of the firm’s Business Enablement Services and is focused on delivering timely, high-quality products, while supporting an environment that enhances both the staff and client experience. KPMG is looking for an Engagement Processor who will be responsible for financial statement preparation for external clients in a variety of industries with varied reporting standards and procedures, ensuring that all submissions received are prepared with accuracy and timeliness.

Requirements

  • College diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience in data processing, business and/or administration.
  • 1-2 years of experience in data processing, business and/or administration.
  • Strong processing skills and knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Acrobat.
  • Excellent data entry skills and high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with an ability to multi-task and prioritize requests and workload.
  • Strong written and oral communication to ensure communication with internal stakeholders.
  • Service and detail oriented, capable of working independently and takes pride in completing tasks efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Working independently and within a team environment to support our client service staff to produce high quality client deliverables.
  • Type or format various reports, financial statements, and financial information in compliance with National guidelines.
  • Produce required correspondence and any other letters required to finalize the financial statements.
  • Review for quality and verify content: check additions, cross-reference amounts, notes and schedules; perform spelling and grammar function.
  • Promote and maintain a high level of document accuracy, consistency, and adherence to Firm standards of presentation, while meeting deadlines.
  • Work with other formats such as Excel and pictures images; recreate into Word or combine with Word documents into PDF, as required.
  • Create PDF files of financial statements and other various deliverables.
  • Perform Track Changes and Compare functions, as requested.
  • Maintain up-to-date filing system for deliverables.
  • Work on special client projects with unique formatting and other documents/publications.
  • Collaborate with client service staff and team members to enhance and resolve matters.
