About The Position

The University of Central Arkansas (UCA) is seeking applications for an academic Graduate Assistantship within the Department of Exercise and Sport Science. The university is committed to fostering a culture that embraces diversity, belonging, inclusion, and equity. Academic graduate assistants will be assigned to a research lab and/or an academic course, under the supervision of one or more faculty members. The department serves over 700 students, offering undergraduate degrees in exercise science and physical education, and graduate degrees in athletic training, exercise science, and sport management. Key research areas include exercise physiology, biomechanics, sport-related concussions, pain management, and sport leadership. The department values inclusive pedagogy and provides resources through the UCA Center for Teaching Excellence and Academic Leadership to support professional and personal development. Both full-time (20 hours a week) and part-time (10 hours a week) positions are available.
