About The Position

Wonolo is disrupting the temporary staffing industry by connecting businesses with underemployed workers through a tech marketplace. We are seeking an experienced Engagement Manager passionate about helping businesses succeed and meet their staffing needs. This role involves nurturing long-term relationships, identifying expansion opportunities, and ensuring partner success across various verticals like retail, business services, and distribution/logistics. You will build strong local relationships, act as a trusted advisor, and provide product insights and training to drive platform adoption and growth. The Operations team is crucial to the customer and worker lifecycle at Wonolo. You will join a team dedicated to the Wonolo mission, business strategy, building opportunities, and growing relationships, playing a key role in shaping the future of work. This position requires candidates located in the Dallas Fort Worth Area who are willing to work onsite.

Requirements

  • 4-6+ years of account management, consultative business development experience or Customer Success.
  • Experience building large enterprise client relationships while also discovering and closing revenue generating opportunities.
  • Experience selling into or supporting clients in light industrial or HR/procurement organizations.
  • A self-starter with strong organizational, analytical, and communications skills (both written and verbal).
  • Located in Dallas/Ft. Worth with the ability to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with key users to ensure full product adoption into their internal workforce staffing strategy and daily practices.
  • Grow, retain, and manage key user relationships within a book of business.
  • Develop a deep understanding of user goals and effectively solution the product and tailor the user experience.
  • Discover, identify, and close new opportunities in partnership with account growth and sales, using a sales qualification framework.
  • Conduct weekly in-person meetings and on-site customer visits to strengthen relationships, identify expansion opportunities, and drive revenue growth.
  • Participate in customer and user kick-off calls, lead post-launch reviews, and quarterly business reviews with users to align on upcoming opportunities.
  • Conduct regular and recurring touchpoints with all users in your book of business to ensure retention and growth.
  • Partner closely with Customer Operations and Product teams to ensure customers have the best possible experience.
  • Own the launch of new venues and customers within assigned markets.
  • Travel as needed for customer relations (up to 60%).
