Finance provides a wide range of services. Our US Pipeline-to-Cash Business Operations (P2C) team is one of our finance teams who is responsible for proactively supporting our client servers on various account decisions, annual planning, financial performance management throughout the year, engagement margin improvement and investment decisions. The opportunity In the Engagement Business Advisor (EBA) Associate role, you will support client engagements through proactive ownership of core engagement administration, financial coordination, and risk enabled operational activities across the engagement lifecycle. You will partner closely with assigned PPMDs (Partners, Principals, Managing Directors), Senior Managers, and engagement teams to anticipate engagement needs, identify risks, and provide informed recommendations related to engagement setup, economics, billing, and compliance. As part of the Engagement Business Operations (EBO) team within the P2C organization, you will support engagement readiness, execution, and closeout by actively monitoring engagement health, applying firm policy and process knowledge, and escalating financial or operational risks to enable timely decision making.

  • BA/BS degree or relevant experience. May consider relevant working experience ideally in a relevant area of study (business, finance, accounting, operations, or legal) to perform this position.

  • Strong proficiency with standard business tools, including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint), SharePoint, and CRM systems.
  • Familiarity/proficiency with GenAI productivity tools in a business setting, including Microsoft Copilot.

Responsibilities

  • Support a book of business with growing financial advisory responsibility, helping executives analyze engagement economics, pricing considerations, and budget to actual performance.
  • Apply finance system and policy knowledge to monitor engagement financial health, identify potential revenue, margin, or billing risks, and surface insights to PPMDs and Senior Managers.
  • Maintain strong CRM and engagement data hygiene, actively monitoring for inconsistencies or missing information that may pose downstream financial, compliance, or operational risk.
  • Coordinate and influence timely completion of PACE activities (independence, conflicts, new client acceptance, and engagement acceptance), partnering with PPMDs and engagement teams to mitigate delays and quality risks.
  • Assist with budget variance analysis, estimates to complete, SOW addendums, and multi milestone invoicing while proactively flagging anomalies or concerns that may impact revenue recognition or client experience.
  • Coordinate execution of agreements and maintain required contract documentation repositories in alignment with EBO standards and firm retention requirements.
  • Support engagement launch activities by anticipating dependencies and risks, coordinating administrative setup with internal stakeholders (e.g., QRM), and ensuring readiness prior to service commencement.
  • Support engagement closeout activities, including final billing coordination and assistance with revenue and accounts receivable administrative processes, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
