This Role has a high focus on Design for Factory Efficiency and 3D Printing. The products you model will likely be turned around in a matter of days of weeks. And they will be documented for future work. Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering or other engineering field
  • Multigroup task management
  • Must be able to obtain a secret clearance
  • Adept at conveying information clearly and persuasively across diverse audiences
  • Experience with basic disassembly and re-assembly processes

Nice To Haves

  • 3 Months of technical experience in a 3D Printing lab

Responsibilities

  • Perform troubleshooting on a wide variety of moderate to highly complex 3D Printer Problems
  • Demonstrate a basic understanding of how your design will impact the factory floor
  • Understand the basic process flow of the factory floor
  • Work with engineering instructions and standard procedures on duties as required
  • Understand how to make an engineering drawing
  • Utilize AI tools to ensure brisk trouble shooting
  • Work with various groups to understand equipment functionality for current and future production needs
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required
