This Role has a high focus on Design for Factory Efficiency and 3D Printing. The products you model will likely be turned around in a matter of days of weeks. And they will be documented for future work. Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering or other engineering field
Multigroup task management
Must be able to obtain a secret clearance
Adept at conveying information clearly and persuasively across diverse audiences
Experience with basic disassembly and re-assembly processes

Nice To Haves

3 Months of technical experience in a 3D Printing lab

Responsibilities

Perform troubleshooting on a wide variety of moderate to highly complex 3D Printer Problems
Demonstrate a basic understanding of how your design will impact the factory floor
Understand the basic process flow of the factory floor
Work with engineering instructions and standard procedures on duties as required
Understand how to make an engineering drawing
Utilize AI tools to ensure brisk trouble shooting
Work with various groups to understand equipment functionality for current and future production needs
Perform other duties and responsibilities as required
