We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as an Energy Technician. Acts as local on-site program and company representative to residential customers. Install energy efficient equipment, conduct pre- and post-installation verifications and other technical data gathering activities through a defined territory. Provides technical advice, guidance and training on installation, adaptation, configuration or enhancement in accordance with client specifications. Requirements
- 0-1 Years of experience
- High school or Associates Degree
- If applicable, meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located without the need for employer sponsorship or support.
- Successful hires must pass pre-employment checks.
Responsibilities
- Conduct installation of residential energy efficiency upgrades
- Record and report to program staff customer and contractor interactions to adhere to program requirements
- Troubleshoot technical problems and issues, regarding installation in accordance with client specifications
- Act as local, on-site program and company representative to customers and contractors; to encourage participation in the program and overcome barriers
- Travel throughout a defined territory
