Job Description We are looking for a talented individual… To join our team as an Energy Technician III. Acts as local on-site program and company representative to residential customers. Install energy efficient equipment, conduct pre- and post-installation verifications and other technical data gathering activities through a defined territory. Provides technical advice, guidance and training on installation, adaptation, configuration or enhancement in accordance with client specifications. Requirements

  • 1-3 Years of experience
  • High school or Associates Degree w/relevant industry technical certification/training preferred
  • BPI Certified preferred; if currently do not hold this certification ability to get certified is needed for this role
  • DOT Requirements If applicable, meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located without the need for employer sponsorship or support.
  • Successful hires must pass pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as local on-site program and company representative to residential customers.
  • Install energy efficient equipment, conduct pre- and post-installation verifications and other technical data gathering activities through a defined territory.
  • Provides technical advice, guidance and training on installation, adaptation, configuration or enhancement in accordance with client specifications.
  • Troubleshoots technical problems and issues, and recommends solutions.
  • Conduct installation of residential energy efficiency upgrades
  • Provide technical advice, guidance and training on installation, adaptation, configuration or enhancement in accordance with client specifications.
  • Provide input and status updates to program staff regarding project scope, planning and effectiveness of products
  • Provide technical expertise to identify, analyze and resolve issues.
  • Travel throughout a defined territory
