About The Position

The Energy Sales and Support role at Ag-Land FS, Inc. is responsible for assisting in energy product sales and service, ensuring efficient operations, and delivering exceptional customer service. This position supports the company’s market growth by assisting the sales representative, providing hands-on service, and reliable product installation and maintenance. Through strong collaboration with team members and customers, this role helps Ag-Land FS achieve its mission while upholding safety, quality, and customer satisfaction standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1–2 years of sales, delivery, or service experience, demonstrating strong reasoning ability to solve practical problems and handle customer inquiries.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Hazmat endorsement.
  • Demonstrated abilities in business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision-making, and skill development.
  • Ability to travel independently, including overnight trips.
  • Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.
  • Willingness to work beyond standard hours.

Responsibilities

  • Perform service, installation, maintenance, and repair of energy department tanks and related equipment.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Schedule product deliveries to customer locations.
  • Work hands-on with other sales and service team members.
  • Utilize available resources to make informed recommendations on product installations and services.
  • Attend product and service-related training sessions.
  • Maintain accurate product inventory.
  • Record sales and delivery information daily.
  • Assist fellow employees by making deliveries as needed.
  • Continuously evaluate equipment suppliers for timeliness, pricing, and service quality.
  • Successfully complete all CETP training programs offered by the Illinois Propane Gas Association.
  • Maintain working knowledge of industry standards (Pamphlets 54, 58).
  • Obtain and maintain a CDL with all required endorsements.
  • Follow Ag-Land’s credit policy when making sales calls.
  • Maintain company vehicles and perform basic maintenance as needed.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
