About The Position

Hunt Electric, Inc. is seeking an experienced Energy Marshal for our Big Horn project. This position will be working directly with other project level functional leads to ensure compliance with energy isolation, lockout/tagout (LOTO) protocols, and safety standards during construction, commissioning, and operation on the jobsite. This is a key position in ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects from start to finish. This position requires an extended period of time at our onsite location. The Energy Marshal will be responsible for promoting a safe & healthy work environment. This candidate will be responsible for continuous improvement of Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) systems resulting in the reduction of incidents and ensure regulatory compliance.

Requirements

3-5 years energy marshal experience on other Data Center Sites.
10+ years’ safety experience in a construction setting.
CSP or CHST certification with minimum of OSHA 30.
Must possess OSHA 30 construction certificate valid within 5 years.
Knowledge of state and federal safety regulations as applied to construction and general industry.
First Aid, CPR & AED certifications.
Electrical safety-NFPA 70E, Excavation, fall protection and confined space certified.
Self-driven, willing to work alone or as part of a team on assigned tasks and initiatives.
Ability to work overtime, weekends, and travel as needed.
Strong computer skills including Microsoft applications.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, supervisory and leadership skills.
Ability to physically perform the duties and functions of the position.
Valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

Electrical trade experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with management to develop, prepare, and implement energy isolation protocols.
Assist the Electrical Superintendents in the development and review of Method of Procedure (MOP) and critical activity plans.
Conduct energy isolation safety training for supervisors & field employees.
Interact with project stakeholders.
Promote a safe & healthy work environment.
Continuously improve Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) systems resulting in the reduction of incidents and ensure regulatory compliance.
Other duties or locations as assigned by Manager.
