The Energy Marshal will oversee and control high-risk energy activities on a large-scale construction project, ensuring strict compliance with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and established electrical safety programs. This role is critical to protecting personnel, equipment, and infrastructure during energized and de-energized work activities. The Energy Marshal will serve as the authority for first-time electrical energizations and pre-energization inspections, coordinating closely with the site lead electrical subcontractor, commissioning agents, and responsible parties. The role requires daily onsite engagement, procedural oversight, and enforcement of NFPA 70E and OSHA standards. This position also supports the development, execution, and auditing of the Project LOTO Plan, ensuring all workers involved in electrical activities are properly qualified, documented, and compliant with project safety requirements.
