As a Strategic Negotiator, you will combine deep market knowledge of a given sector with tech industry savvy to negotiate cost-effective solutions supporting Google's infrastructure growth. You will work with specific project teams on negotiating agreements, managing vendor and partner relationships, and presenting recommendations to Tech leadership. Your successful negotiations can save Google millions in operating costs and impact every part of the business. Within the GIE Energy team, the mission is to help Google achieve its goals of low-cost, clean, and reliable energy supply to its global fleet of data centers. As an Energy Fuels Strategic Negotiator within the Power Generation Solutions team, your mission is to secure the vital energy foundation that powers the future of AI. By originating, structuring, and negotiating forward-thinking contracts with energy fuel suppliers and energy fuel infrastructure developers, you will unlock critical power capacity in highly constrained territories. In this role, you will be responsible for negotiating fuel supply and fuel infrastructure contracts to support the growth of Google's data center fleet, integrating energy infrastructure within Google's operations, and mitigating associated risks. You will originate, structure, and negotiate agreements and hedges with energy commodity suppliers and fuel infrastructure developers to expand power supply options in power-constrained territories. You will be part of teams negotiating site-specific energy contracts based on innovative generation solutions. You will be a key contributor to energy capacity procurement efforts and engage internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the solutions proposed are technically, socially, and environmentally sound, supporting Google's commitment to build and deploy AI responsibly.
