As the Energy Assistance Program Assistant Manager, you'll help families access critical resources, support program operations, and lead a team that makes a lasting impact in our communities.
Requirements
- One to two years of post-secondary education or related experience.
- Experience in customer service, human services, or a related field.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office and quick to learn new systems.
- Use sound judgment to resolve challenges effectively.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with low-income households.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Knowledge of energy assistance or community service programs.
- Familiarity with heating systems and terminology.
Responsibilities
- Support EAP, ERR, and Crisis programs while assisting with staff supervision and training.
- Determine eligibility and connect families with emergency energy assistance.
- Work with vendors, contractors, and local agencies to support participants.
- Manage documentation, reporting, and program requirements.
- Help train, coach, and guide team members.
- Participate in outreach and education efforts throughout the service area.
