As the Energy Assistance Program Assistant Manager, you'll help families access critical resources, support program operations, and lead a team that makes a lasting impact in our communities.

Requirements

• One to two years of post-secondary education or related experience.
• Experience in customer service, human services, or a related field.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office and quick to learn new systems.
• Use sound judgment to resolve challenges effectively.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with low-income households.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Knowledge of energy assistance or community service programs.
• Familiarity with heating systems and terminology.

Responsibilities

• Support EAP, ERR, and Crisis programs while assisting with staff supervision and training.
• Determine eligibility and connect families with emergency energy assistance.
• Work with vendors, contractors, and local agencies to support participants.
• Manage documentation, reporting, and program requirements.
• Help train, coach, and guide team members.
• Participate in outreach and education efforts throughout the service area.
