About The Position

ECS is seeking an Endpoint Management Technician [Linux] - Journeyman to support the Army National Guard (ARNG) Enterprise Network Operations and Cybersecurity Support (ENOCS) program. The Army National Guard (ARNG) Enterprise Network Operations and Cybersecurity Support (ENOCS) program delivers comprehensive enterprise IT infrastructure, WAN, cybersecurity, and associated services to the ARNG and its mission partners. The program supports more than 120,000 users and 141,000 endpoints across approximately 2,800 sites spanning 54 states and territories, enabling Title 10 and Title 32 missions, domestic emergency response operations, mobilization readiness, and classified SIPRNet operations. Task 4 — Enterprise Operations Support — provides 24/7/365 network monitoring, control, and management from the RCC-ARNG Network Operations Center (NOC) over classified and unclassified networks, delivering DoDIN services including data, voice, and video across the ARNG's distributed enterprise infrastructure. Requirements

  • Clearance: TS//SCI Eligible required
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • DoD 8140.03 Compliance: DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) Work Role 451-System Administrator at the Intermediate proficiency level
  • Certifications (one or more required): Cloud+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+, SSCP
  • Education: Bachelors in [Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering]
  • 12+ years of experience in database administration and system management in Windows Server and Linux environments.
  • Extensive experience in patch management, applying service packs and hotfixes to SQL Server and Windows Server.
  • Strong background in system monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Experience maintaining compliance across various environments.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain endpoint configuration baselines across MECM, Intune, Linux, and hybrid device environments.
  • Deploy patches and software updates, ensuring compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies.
  • Validate and monitor patch compliance and remediation timelines, addressing any discrepancies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve device configuration issues, documenting corrective actions taken.
  • Support the reporting of endpoint security posture and compliance metrics.
  • Ensure adherence to configuration management standards and operational performance requirements.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance system monitoring and troubleshooting processes.
  • Maintain compliance across development, test, and production environments.
