The Merrilee Alexander Kick College of Business & Entrepreneurship at Texas Woman's University seeks an accomplished scholar for the inaugural Merrilee Alexander Kick Endowed Chair of Entrepreneurship. The chair holder will anchor the College's growing entrepreneurship portfolio by producing leading-edge scholarship, mentoring faculty and students, and forging research partnerships across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. We seek a highly accomplished advanced Assistant Professor or Associate Professor whose research is already making an impact and whose trajectory points toward national and international leadership in entrepreneurship research. The endowment provides the resources to accelerate that trajectory: a competitive salary, an annual research stipend, and a reduced teaching load. The chair holder will help lead and shape the Merrilee Alexander Kick Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. We evaluate scholarly impact and trajectory over sheer publication volume. Competitive candidates will show a focused, influential body of peer-reviewed work in entrepreneurship and management, clear momentum toward leading journals in the field, and the ability to elevate the research profile of the department, the College, and the Institute.
