About The Position

We are seeking a qualified Endovascular Surgical Neuroradiology Physician for a Locum Tenens position in Billings, MT. This inpatient role requires 24-hour call coverage, primarily for LVO, Hemorrhagic Stroke, and Vasospasm cases. The physician will utilize a biplane procedural suite and coordinate care with APP support and a multidisciplinary stroke team. While primarily focusing on emergent endovascular needs, the role also involves inpatient rounding and consultations. General neurosurgery responsibilities are not part of this position.

Requirements

Board Eligible
Licensed in MT or Universal License (IMLC)
BLS, ACLS certifications
Fellowship required
Proficiency in Cerner EMR
Ability to work with APP support
General Neurosurgery (Adult, Trauma)
Aneurysm clipping
Endovascular procedures
Placement of ICP monitors

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive Endovascular coverage for LVO, Hemorrhagic stroke, Vasospasm, and other emergent Endovascular needs
Coordinate care with APP support and multidisciplinary stroke team
Utilize biplane procedural suite for interventional procedures
Perform both inpatient rounding and consultations as needed
Manage patient care without general neurosurgery responsibilities
